Born from a childhood tradition of soft minky blankets and the safety they carried, Simple Sunday exists to bring that same feeling back—through cozy moments at home and through blankets donated to children who need comfort the most.

Where Early Comfort Meets Grown-Up Life

In our home growing up, one of the very first gifts a newborn received was always the same:
a soft, plush minky blanket.

It wasn’t just a blanket—it was a first comfort, a first sense of safety, the thing you held onto on the nights you couldn’t sleep, the thing that made the dark feel less scary. It followed you from crib to childhood, becoming a tiny reminder that you were cared for, protected, and never alone.

There’s a kind of love woven into those early blankets that you don’t forget.

As adults, we don’t grow out of the need for comfort—we just forget to give it to ourselves.
Life gets loud, schedules get heavy, and the simple feeling of being wrapped up, held, and allowed to exhale becomes rare.

Simple Sunday was created to bring that feeling back.

We wanted to make a blanket for everyone-
body-hugging softness, gentle weight, warmth that settles the nervous system, and a texture that feels like a deep breath you can touch.
A soft place to land at the end of a long day.

But the heart of Simple Sunday goes further than comfort at home.

Not everyone grows up with a blanket waiting for them.
Not every child has someone to tuck them in, to read them a story, or to hold them when the world feels too big.

Our long-term mission is to donate Simple Sunday blankets to orphanages and children who fall asleep without anyone beside them.
If our blankets can offer even a fraction of the safety we felt growing up—a warm hug on nights when it’s needed most—then we’re doing something meaningful.
